The Lamborghini Gallardo is a 5.2L V10, entry-level exotic car that has been immensely successful for Lamborghini S.p.A as a company. In the days of yore, Lamborghinis were known to be unruly, wild, and monstrous beasts that were hard and uncomfortable to drive. Of course, an exotic car is not designed to be an icon of luxury and/or elegance. With the ownership of Lamborghini transferred to Audi, a complete reformation came about in the entire line of Lamborghini automobiles. Comfort, elegance, and even some reliability crept into the Italian beasts
The Gallardo, by many, is seen as one of these heavily Audi-influenced Lamborghinis to hit the markets. There was caution, anxiety, and concern for both Lamborghini/Audi as well as their customers and fans around the world. However, the V10 charging bull was indeed steered to success and consequently is the most produced Lamborghini.
This particular example, an ’06 black/black coupe, is an absolute knock-out. Apart from the incredibly yellow brake calipers to the matching yellow interior stitching, this Gallardo has been given the make-over by Hamann. With a set of 19″ black Hamann wheels (a chrome outer lip to boot) and a Hamann body kit, this Gallardo stands apart from the oh-so-boring standard Gallardo.
With the exhaust valves adjusted, this Hamann Gallardo has a nice grunt at lower RPMs but an incredible wail up high! Of course, an E-Gear transmission, Lamborghini’s version of “F1″, this Gallardo is relatively easy to drive as well.
The perfect combo of aesthetics and power on this Lamborghini Hamann Gallardo will give any “prancing horse” out there a run for its money!
